Week 7 24th June
As of last week all matches resulted in 3-2 wins which culminated in a nailbiting finish. The Green Machine drafted in Antony Greenwood and Michael Andrews in a desperate attempt to salvage something from their disappointing season. However, Clairmont hadn't read the script and triumphed 3-2 with Paul Hewitt and Paul Tracey both having vital singles wins over Michael Andrews with Antony Greenwood winning both his singles. Steve Hollands' two singles successes against H2O Rowhedge C deprieved them of a last gasp attempt to contest the top two positions. League leaders H2O Rowhedge A managed to narrowly beat The Long Shots with Jane Li, using her handicap wisely, winning both her singles. H2O Rowhedge D needed to win their match convincingly but found the Claydon brothers, Jake & Josh, just too much to overcome, although it went to the last game and 21-19 in the deciding set before they surrendered the title to their A team by the narrowest of margins.

Week 6 17th June
All match results this week were 3-2 wins for The Long Shots, H2O Rowhedge A, B, and C. This puts H2O Rowhedge A level with their D team and H2O Rowhedge C slipping nicely into 3rd. place only 1 point adrift. Paul Hewitt won both his singles with David Moss losing his 100% record. Nigel Claydon,Andrew Mudie and Sam Burrows also won both their singles matches. With only 1 match to go it realistically is anyone from the top three to take the title although maximum points for either The Long Shots or The Green Machine might just give them an outside chance, making the last week extremely interesting.
